Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts has created a tag mini album (coming soon!) and it is super simple to put together. The book kit comes with 2 chipboard covers, 6 cardstock pages (your choice of black or kraft), 6 tag inserts and 3 accent tags and 3 belly bands.
The book and pages measure 7.75" tall X 5" wide.
The cardstock pages and belly bands are pre-scored. Since I'm working with black cardstock, I used a white pen to make it easy to see the score marks and hinge.
There are two score folds: one in the center and one on the side. Fold the side score in to create a hinge. Place your favorite wet glue on the hinge and fold the other half of the tag onto the glued hinge.
That's it!
Keep the bottom and top of the tag open (no glue please). The opening at the bottom will be used to bind the book so the binding with close that for you. The top opening will be a large pocket for the included inserts.
Bind with your favorite system and you're all ready to decorate. I chose to use Graphic 45's Come Away With Me. The cover of the book uses another Gypsy Soul Laser Cut product, an Antique Bike Set (or Penny Farthing bike).
I inked up the bicycle with black Distress ink then added Prima paints to make it look a bit rusty.
I'll show you some of the inside pages. The rest you can see on my blog.
I love using the Gypsy Soul Laser Cut stamp shapes. Those shown above and below can be used for photos and journaling.
The stamp strips make adorable mini tags.
Cut them apart or fold them over
and decorate or place a photo on top.
Thanks for visiting the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts blog today.
Hope you enjoyed my mini-book project.
See you soon next month with another
Gypsy Soul Laser Cut project.
