Chippies I used from Gina's Peacock Feathers shape set and Feathers.

Mini Album Display Case

Hi everyone Monica here. I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend.  I had three days off and it was nice. So for today I am sharing a mini album display case that is made from masonite from Gina's Designs.  I took the side floral door from an ATC Shrine Leaves display box also available from Gina's  and added it to the mini display like a side panel for a different look.  Then I added some patterned paper, applied gesso and inked all the edges to give it a distressed look.
Inisde sits this mini book and made a band that will hold the mini book closed and all you do is slide it on and off.

CIMG0007

It opens up to an accordion book.

Slide the band back on and it keeps it shut.

House Mini Display Frame

Hi everyone Monica here with a newer piece from Gina's Designs.  This is a mini display frame and they come in: House, Balloon, Camera, Butterfly and Birdhouse.  I used some G45 papers to decorate it with and some chippies from GD's  Spooky Shape Set, Lamppost 2, and Grass & Foliage set.

I left open spots so I could add some Halloween photos.

I backed it with corrugated cardboard and I used some Crackle Paste and glimmer mist...
...then I stamped it with a scroll type stamp all over the frame.
I stamped the Boo chippie as well and I love - love how it came out.  Well I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping by....Simply Monica

Christmas Card by Monica

This week our design team is going to be sharing Christmas projects!  We know everyone likes to get ahead on these and we figured when better than July to start just that!

Merry Christmas in July everyone. I want to share q quick card I made using Gina's Designs doilies. I embossed the bottom piece with a Darice folder and colored the tree with my copics.  I will admit I am not a copic pro, but the more I use them the better I get.  I know its obvious I am in love with these doilies.

I used the doily as sort of a backdrop for the centerpiece, which is a globe and has snow in it.  Once again Happy Christmas in July everyone!!

Doily Tags by Shanna & Monica

Hey everyone Shanna here to share a little magic and love I have for making tags! Okay my first tag turned out amazing and I love love love it.

I used lots of layering on this tag.
For my second tag... this was an epic fail.... I mean save lol. I was feeling bright and colorful. Well after some Dylusions and stencils... not so bright and very upset with my tag.... so after letting it sit there for a few weeks... I said to myself if you mess up with spray Gesso it and start over... (Thanks Limor and Leanne for echoing that into my head!!!)

So I gave it a quick dry brush of gesso and SHA BAM BAMM!!!!! I said well it still needs a splash of color so I tried out my new Heidi Swapp spray I picked up from an awesome sale Susana was having and threw the sentiment on it and MAGIC!!
You can still see color poking through but muted a bit. That doily looks awesome right!!!
I painted the chipboard with something and I don't quite remember most likely a Tattered Angels Glaze and gave it a body with pearls and antennas were made with string beads. I love the look on how this turned out!
So grab your chippies and come play!

Items Used:

Gesso
Dylusion Sprays
Heidi Swapp Spray
Tim Holtz sentiment stamp
Trim/Fibers
Pearls
String Beads
Prima papers, flowers, stamps
Lace
Seam Binding Ribbon

Hey all! Monica here with a tag of my own to share!

Gina has doiles that come in 2 sets - 8 inch and a variety size set.  She has intricate cut pieces too.  Now enough of how fabulous these doilies are and a little about my piece.  Oh almost forgot I used "Hope" from here Words & Phrases sets.  I inked a prima flower to match the paper which actually is the packaging from something I bought lol. Stamped a hot air balloon and used some wallpaper tape.

Doily Canister by Monica

Summer has definitely hit the Sunshine State and man is it hot, but perfect for flowers to bloom.  I found this wine canister and decided it would be perfect for altering and used more of Gina's Doily Intricate cuts.  I was serious when I said I used them on literally everything.  These make the best stamping backgrounds for all your projects.

Glassine Bag Mini Album by Monica

Hi everyone Monica here with Simply Monica and I am sharing a glassine bag project from Gina's designs.  These awesome bags come in 3 different sizes so they are perfect for almost anything.  I did something a little different and made my bags into a mini album but I used pieces from Gina's Shaped Edge Micro Mini album for inserts as well as the spine for the glassine bags.

The front page has a bubble globe and I popped in some buttons

This page has an oval cut frame and you slide the photo down inside

This shows how the glassine bags are attached to a paper binding system and then adhered to one of the cuts from the Shaped Edge Mini.

I hope everyone has enjoyed my post for today and be sure to check out Gina's Designs she is constantly adding new items and she even does CUSTOM orders shipping is uber fast with her being in the US!!

Hi everyone Monica here.  I want to share a layout I created with Prima Reflections line and of course some Gina's Design Chipboard pieces.  I just love the absolute versatility of the pieces you can paint, emboss, alter you name it... Most of all the price is out of this world you get so much for the cost.
