An oxymoron Halloween mini . . .

Hi Everyone. I'm here to share a little mini . . . and that's where the oxymoron comes in.

This is a Frank Garcia designed mini that measures 4.5" x 4.5". It's pre-bound with a very sturdy 2" spine. It's completely made of chipboard, including the pages, so you can really load it up without worrying about anything bending.

Because this is a *little-mini*, I used a 6x6 paper pad to decorate along with some of my favorite Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Halloween/Fall pieces.

After papering the binding, I used a cornstalk from the Fall Shape Set. This set has some great pieces for anything you're working on having to do with the Autumn season including apple picking, pumpkin patches, leaf piles, candy apples and more.

When inking chipboard pieces, I try to ink light in the center and choose a darker color on the edges, adding a bit of contrast. For this piece I used Vintage Photo in the center and brought in some Espresso on the edges of the chip.

On the inside cover, I colored and placed 2 leaves as pockets. The leaves are from the Fall Banner Kit.

Not-so-ordinary pockets were added to the next two pages. The left side uses a swirl from the Flourishes 2 Set. It was inked and then covered with Sparkle & Sprinkle embossing powder. The right page uses a border and corners from the Wrought Iron Set. Simply dab the chipboard with Distress Stain.

What Halloween book is complete without a witch and a tree. This witch comes from the Spooky Shape Set and dabbed with Distress Stain.  I used a Branch for the tree and embossed it with Sparkle & Sprinkle embossing powder.

A couple of belly bands were created with the help of a Scarecrow and a blackbird.

Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts has a super cute border of kids holding hands, all dressed in Halloween costumes.  I took that border and made individual kits to use on various pages in the book. All are embossed with sparkly black embossing powder.

And just because it's my favorite season of the year, here's another decoration with a leaf from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.

Thanks for sticking with me through this rather large little mini.  (wink, wink)

See you in a couple of weeks with another Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts project.
