Mitten Banners by Deann and Kim

Happy Friday everyone! Today we have our two designers, Deann and Kim up with their take on our Mitten Micro Mini Album.  First up is Deann with her take...

Good morning, Deann here with a dual project with Kim! We both made the Mitten Micro Mini Album. We decided to turn the mini into banners.

I used the My Minds Eye Holly Jolly 6x6 paper pad to cover the mittens.

I used Heidi's Stars Shape Set on some of the cuffs.

I also used the Snowflakes Shape Set.

I found really cute jingle bells at the Dollar Tree, they look so cute!

Next up is Kim with her very pretty Banner!

Hello friends, today I am here to share with you my take on the Micro Mitten Mini Album. I turned the mini into a vertical banner for my front door.  I started off my banner by using some of the pieces from the Winter Shape Set, the tree and the "Let it Snow" sentiment.  I embossed the words and layered them over the tree which I used some Snow Tex on to give the illusion of snow, and topped the tree off with one of the bling buttons from Craftsupplies1.
Here is the mittens which hang below the Let It Snow sentiment, it hangs on my front door.

Below here are my mittens, I used some Lawn Fawn paper on them, then went around with some chalk inks to distress them a little. I topped the mittens off with some gorgeous laces, flowers and trim from Craftsupplies1, along with some fun Christmas mini lights I had in my stash.

I used some of the snowflakes from Gina's Snowflake set, which I textured and added some tinsel embossing powder to give them some shine. For the letters, I used some of the lady bug Prima chalk ink and then embossed on top of them  with a clear glitter embossing powder. I also used some embossing paste and a Tim Holtz stencil, Stars, to create a wintery background on the mittens.

I am really happy with how this turns out. Deann and I loved making this so much, that Gina is going to make a Snow Mitten Banner which will be in the store soon!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out my and Deann's projects.

Cabin in the Woods Shadowbox by Kim

Happy Friday friends! Today I am sharing my Cabin In The Woods Shadowbox by Gina's Designs. This is such a great shadowbox and comes with some fun extras, including the chipboard fireplace, cabin and trees.

I used the Honey Chai paper on this box, but first I give it some paint and a crackle finish to pick up on the blues and brown tones in the paper. It worked well with the theme of the box.  I also used some of the Queen Anne's Lace chipboard and layered in some resin butterflies, dragonflies and flowers from Craftsupplies1.

There is plenty of room to decorate or store your favorite items!
Here you can see the top of the box and the cabins and trees that come with the shadowbox. I used layers of inks on them to give them their muted tones.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my project today. For more info please check out my blog which you can find HERE

Layout by Donna and Cross Promotion Projects by the Craftsupplies1 Team

Hello Friends!  Today we have lots of inspiration to share.  First up we have our team member Donna sharing a gorgeous layout, and following that we are sharing more of the amazing October cross promotional projects created by the team at Craftsupplies1.

It's Donna here today to share a fall layout using one of Gina's beautiful flourished frames.
I wanted to keep this layout very simple because I wanted the gorgeous Flourished Frame - Bella to be the star of the show! It's a really beautiful design!

I prepared the chipboard frame with a coat of white gesso. I then painted it with Tattered Angels, Palm leaf, glitter paint. While still wet, I added pine needles and orange embossing powder.

I only glued the middle frame part down so that I could pull up and lightly twist up the leaves.

Thank you so, so much for stopping by Gina's and taking a look at my Fall layout!

Ashley has stepped outside of the box creating these very cool canvas'. She has done them up in a shabby tea theme, with some of the tea string alongs, and alarm clock frame ups.  They would look amazing hanging in any kitchen or tea room!

On the right Kristina has altered one of our ATC shrines. We love the pretty in pink tones, which mix with some of the new fabric flowers that Craftsupplies1 has in stock.

Thanks to everyone on the Craftsupplies1 team and please check out Julie's two shops on Etsy and Zibbet.

Next up is Mary with an inventive way to use our Love Wall Art Kit just by making a few simple adjustments.

Hi everyone. Mary here and today I have designed a "lace" sign from Gina's Designs LOVE wall art kit! I plan on using it in my craft room to mark my lace area. When I have decided were that area will be, I will then make the decision on how I will attach it. For now I will just stand it up accordion style!

I lined the back chipboard with paper from Prima's Delight after edging it with Walnut Stain.  The corrugated squares were lightly touched with gesso. For the letters, I took the "O" and cut a small section from it to make a "C".  After a coat of gesso and embossing with Madonna Robe Blue Gold, I turned the "V" upside down and attached the little piece left over to form the "A."

The cutouts are from the paper line. I use a crocheted doily from my stash under the "A" and one of Gina's Designs under the "E".

The panels were attached together with a lovely piece of lace from CraftSupplies1. I took out the ribbon that was woven through it. I then used one of my Tim Holtz Blending Tools and used it to drag the lace over the Antique Linen ink pad.

All the metal flowers are from CraftSupplies1.
