New Kid on the Block . . .

The designing block that is Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts has come up with another amazing flip book with bracket edges. I'm using mine for a baby book gift for a friend. Decorated with Graphic 45 papers, I followed Gina's lead (our fearless leader) and added pockets and even more flips.

This was very fun to decorate and it holds a multitude of photos. The book, when closed, measures 8.25 X 8.5" with a spine that is 1.5" wide. Gina designs these so you may use 8x8 pattern paper pads if you wish.

Included in the book kit are bracket edge tracers, making it easy to layer paper if you wish. Also included with the kit are directions on how to put everything together.  This was designed as a top close but I gave mine a 90 degree turn and am using it as a side close.

Adding side pockets, bottom pockets or more flips is a piece of cake.

We all know how a simple change in patterned paper can make a book look totally different. I want to show you how Gina decorated hers. It's adorable:

And on the inside:

We both used film strips in our books. You can find them on Gina's site here:

This is an idea that I love and totally copied for my book. This is a mini Gina made to fit into one of the book pockets. It has 6 waterfall flips per page and each is decorated with the months for baby's first year.

Here's Gina's, decorated with baby's first year (coming soon).

Hope you enjoyed seeing the newest mini on Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts

Here's a list of products used:
