Mosaic Table

Happy Saturday, everyone! Today I want to share with you a pretty little piece I made from a GSL Tile TopTable. It's 1:12 scale and has tiny little drawers and an inset at the top for adding either porcelain or Half Inch Chipboard Tiles.

Here are the pieces that make up the table itself. They are easily assembled using a bit of tacky glue.

Here is what the table looks like during assembly. Just need to add the front.

The drawer sections look like this.

The table and drawers got a coat of brown acrylic paint. The drawers were lined with a paper scrap. The handles are brads glued in place, they fit perfectly. This rectangular shape is the inset where the tiles are placed.

I found a set of mini mosaic tiles on sale at the craft store and set out to design the top.

At first I tried a random design but really liked the look of this. The tiles were glued in place with E6000. I used clear glass bead spacers at the ends.

Now I need to get to work on a miniature setting for this little beauty! Thanks for stopping by.
