Mixed Media Canvas by Guest Designer Pam Bray

Good Morning!!! It's Pam and today I'm sharing with you my second Guest Designer post for Gina's Designs Lasercuts, a fun Family mixed media canvas!

I began my canvas by first painting it with DecoArt Media White Gesso. Once dried I added Gina's Designs Lasercuts Bird Ivy, "Family" from the Word & Phrases I Set and one of the Banner Border Strip Chipboard to the top of my canvas, some random paper flowers to the top along with script washi tape using Quick Dry Glue from Scotch. Allow the adhesive to dry completely.

Paint over the top of canvas as well as the chipboard and flowers with DecoArt Chalkboard Everlasting Paint. Allow it to dry completely.

Spray over the top of the canvas,  Gina's Design Lasercut Chipboard,  and flowers with Primary Yellow Shimmer Mister from DecoArt. Dry.

Spray first with Turquoise Shimmer Mister from DecoArt, allow to dry.

Repeat with White Shimmer Mister from DecoArt. Again allowing the mists to dry completely

Using a stencil, DecoArt White Gesso and palette knife apply randomly to top of dry canvas. Allow it to dry.

Stamp randomly with Stampendous Wired Grillager and Black Stazon Ink.

Paint the "Family" word from the Word & Phrases I Set with Everlasting Chalkboard paint. Allow it to dry. Apply a light coat of DecoArt Quincridone Gold Media Paint to the top of canvas, whipping of here and there with paper towel to achieve the look you want. Allow it to dry. Spatter with Everlasting Chalkboard paint. Allow it to dry.

Add fussy cut butterflies to the top of the finished "Family" Canvas.

I hope you have enjoyed my "Family" Mixed Media Canvas using Gina's Designs Lasercuts along with DecoArt Media Products.
