Vintage Family Page to share

Hi it's Teresa here today and this time I am sharing a page I did for my Ancestry project I am working on with my family.  I have been collecting lots of pictures this past year from all the members of my family to make a huge book and if you didn't know already there are lots of frames and borders and corners in the GSLC store for you to use to do it.

For my page I used the "Flourished Frame called Bella" behind my picture to add lots of detail like a wedding would have had and also the word "Family" from the new sentiment set called "Words and Phrases 1"

The papers are from Kaisercraft and were the perfect colors with the chipboard to bring this old vintage picture to life.  And I just kept the page simple in the backround so that it wouldn't take away from the picture and the beautiful details in the frame behind it.

Here you can see a closeup of the frame... It's really gorgeous and here is a link to the other frames and goodies in the store so you can hop over and take a peek!!  ..... HERE

Thank you so much for stopping by.... Teresa

Fall in Love Page

Hi Everyone... today I am sharing a fall page I made with one of my favorite chippie assortements called "Cottage Windows Large".  I love these because they are perfect for pages and mini books and the are great to make that perfect picture you have really stand out.  There are 3 in the set and each of them is different and for mine I chose the simple cutout top to put my picture in.

My papers are by Prima and are from a new fall line they have ,so it was perfect to do my daughters wedding pages with since she got married in October last year.  Yep-- i am still working on them :)

I also used lots of flowers to create a pretty border at the bottom of my page and let all the magic from the chipboard and the papers do the rest.  I love when you find something really special and it works out better than you planned and goes together really easy.  This one is going into a frame for the wall.

And sorry I didn't do much of a tutorial ... next time for sure!
Thanks so much for stopping over...

Our Wedding page

Happy Sunday everyone and I hope you are enjoying the long Memorial day weekend.  Today is my day to share so I thought I would work on a few more pages for my daughter's wedding album using some fun chip board shapes that I just got.

I am way behind on the pages for her wedding and since she got married in October I had to really dig deep for colors in my stash for them.  But I had lots and lots of fun chipboard pieces from the GSLC store so it really went together pretty easy.  I used 3 different sets to create it.  The backround under the photo is Deco Panel 1, Then I tucked in a few leaves from the Doodles set 1, and used those pretty corners from the Art Deco Border and Corners set.

It was a super easy page to make and all I did was layer pieces of paper and ephemera that went together with the Bo Bunny dot paper I used for the base of my page.  I love the kraft color of the chipboard so I just left it the way it was and added a few rhinestones in orange to make it a little more wedding glitzy.  It was so fun.

Here is a closeup of the leaves from the Doodles Set.  It has lots of fun little shapes and is perfect to add a little custom detail to whatever you are creating.   Be sure and stop over to the shop and see all the neat frames they have that are perfect for doing pages... you are going to love them.

Happy Sunday to all of you!!
