Farmhouse Mini Folio

Hello my crafty friends! Leigh Ann here today.  It feels like it's been forever since I posted here on Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts and I am excited to be back!  We moved into our new home back in February and I am finally getting my craft room set up to where I can create again.  Today I will be showing off the Mini Folio that I made with Graphic 45 Farmhouse paper.

I am absolutely in love with how this little folio turned out!  The first thing I did was to paint the entire folio with black gesso on the front and back.  Then I attached the bottom flip down piece with double sided tape. This folio is great because it can be made as simple or as complicated as you want.  I was originally planning to make a very simple folio, but true to my nature I just couldn't stop adding details. I put pockets on the left and right sides of the folio to hold tags and ephemera cards.

Inside the top flip up of the folio I decided to do a small waterfall with a few ephemera cards.

On the bottom flip down piece I used black cardstock to create 2 more fold outs.  I did add a magnet under the paper on the top piece to help keep them closed.

Doing this gave me several more places to store ephemera cards and photos.

I saved the outside for last and wrapped a wide ribbon around the entire folio before adding paper.  This gave it a cute tie closure. I also added an eyelet to the spine and hung some tags and charms on the side.

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial and are inspired to get creative this weekend!

I used this mini folio from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts to create this cute little project.
