Romantic Folio 9 x 11

It's Karolina here. Today I am sharing this lovely 9 X 11 Folio

To cover the folio inside and outside, I cover the edges using white gesso.

 Then I cut the paper slightly smaller than the size of each section. 

I covered Folio with patterned paper using glue.

Also, I covered both books in patterned papers and made one book.

I made a pocket for photos or tags.

I tried to make my Folio album very simple because I will keep it on my shelf, and I don't want to damage anything. I will decorate the album inside when I add photos in future. 

I made some extra mats.

I used vintage ribbon to wrap around the folio.

Folio album

 

Hello everyone.

Karolina here. Unfortunately, my phone stopped working, and I lost all my photos. Fortunately, the project isn't challenging, so we can manage without step-by-step images.

For this inspiration, I picked the folio album you can buy here. This Folio album measures 9x11 inches. I decided to make it in a simple style. I will add to the album, photos in black and white.

First, I distressed the base of the Folio album and connected all pieces of the album using glue.

 I cut out the elements from the patterned papers to cover the base of the Folio album. 

All pieces are a bit smaller than the base of the album. After that, I stuck them using glue.

In the photo below, I made a mat for photos, but I didn't cover the whole mat, so now I have an extra pocket for photos or mats where I can write something. 

I made a pocket using a small strip of paper on one of the smaller flaps.

On the one flap, I stuck some mats one after another. Before that, I fold them in 1 cm.

I also stuck an envelope to keep more photos or notes.

I used natural string to tie this lovely Folio album.

Blue Fern Autumn Anthology 9x11 Folio

This Blue Fern collection has gorgeous papers and I have been searching for just the right project for them. I generally make mini albums, but this paper really lends itself to a larger size to accomomdate these beautiful images, so when I found the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts 9x11 folio, I knew it was perfect for this project. Cutting the pages to fit this 9x11 format allows the use of the major corner images and leaves the other side of the paper to be trimmed as a two or three inch pocket with the secondary images.

The folio comes in three pieces that look like this:

The two loose pieces are glued to the right side:

I added some small flips to the left side:

Bazzill Rose Gold foil is used as a mat on all sections.

The cover:

                   The Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts "Frame Bella Round" comes in two pieces.

                       I cut an extra bottom piece out of the Rose Gold and used it as a base for 

 the flowers on the right side of the cover:

                       When the left front cover is opened, the right side of the roundframe is not  

                               glued so that it can be used to slip in a photo or a dedication. The chipboard color                               looked really good with the Rose Gold foil, so I left it as is.  A piece of ribbon is glued under the paper as part of the closure.

When the right cover is opened there is a 9x11 piece of Autumn Anthology paper with no extra embellishments, and the right side flips.

A closer look highlights a pocket with Rose Gold/Blue Fern tags.
