Ladies Diary Shrine Box By Pam Bray

Hi!!! It is Pam  here today on the Gypsy Soul Laser Cut blog sharing with you my Ladies Diary Shrine Box created with the Square Shrine Shadowbox. 
 

I began by first laying my Square Shrine Shadowbox out. Cut and adhere the  pattern paper to fit the chipboard piece. Adhere Square Shrine Shadowbox together.

Cover pattern paper to front and sides of Square Shrine Shadowbox. 

 Adhere Intricate Doily (contact store) to inside of Square Shrine Shadowbox. 

Take Tulip Scroll Corner and cut at curve with scissors. Paint chipboard with white paint. Apply Metallic Lustre Iced Espresso and Brilliant Turquoise.

Adhere to front of Square Shrine Shadowbox. 

Decorate top of Square Shrine Shadowbox with Ladies Diary Chipboard embellishment and clock pattern paper.

 Add charm to top.

Adhere more pretty flowers and bow to side of Square Shrine Shadowbox. 

Adhere smaller part of prepared Tulip Scroll Corner to box, add more flowers and metals.

Fussy cut pattern paper and place inside of Square Shrine Shadowbox.

Adhere more pretty flowers and chipboard to side of box.

Place metal beads to bottom of box for legs.

Take Time....ATC Shrine and ATC by Lynne

Well it's that TIME again! I love clocks as well as the concept of time in general and fell in love with this ATC shrine right away. It was so much fun to embellish and of course then I had to make a coordinating ATC (Artist's Trading Card)

I covered the shrine with patterned paper which I tore and inked.

For the door I primed it with acrylic paint then heat embossed here and there with Ranger Distress embossing powder in Vintage Photo. I used glue to adhere the powder so it would bubble when heated for an interesting texture. The colour was a bit more orange than I wanted so I rubbed over many of the areas with gold pigment ink. I dabbed on a bit of blue ink to coordinate with the blue in the papers. A few metal charms and some cheesecloth and tiny flowers completed the effect. I used the Tulip Scroll Corner piece to fashion a roof of sorts. This piece was just primed and heat embossed with the same powder but without the glue as I wanted the fine detail of the chipboard piece to stand out.

The ATC was made to coordinate with the shrine by fussy cutting some items from the paper used to cover the shrine. I also added a cluster of the same flowers. I used a small clock from the Pocket Watch set as well and simply rubbed it with gold ink.  I heat embossed the clock hands and added cheesecloth as on the shrine. The burlap leaves were used on both items as well.

Happy Birthday Card Set by Pam Bray

 

Hi Pam here today sharing with you a couple of Birthday Cards to share today.

CAN YOU BELIEVE.... I went to get my grand daughter a birthday card and I didn't have any!!!

SERIOUSLY!!!

SO...I got busy...

I grabbed some beautiful Graphic 45 Botanical pattern papers....Along with some chippies from Gypsy Soul Lasercuts. 

I began by first cutting one of the Tudor Rose Singles in half. Using Picket Fence Distress Paint gave the Tudor Rose Single and the Daisies a good coat of paint. Allow it to dry completely.

Layer distress paints on the Tudor Rose Single and Daisies pieces til you achieve the look you like. 

Allow to dry completely.

Mat and layer pattern paper together on card front. Stamp sentiment with black ink and place on card front. Add butterfly.

 Adhere prepared Tudor Rose Single to front of card.

Add prepared Daisies pieces to front of card.

I created a Belated Birthday Card since....WELL... I was a bad grandma and my sweet grand-daughter will receive her card late.

Layer pattern paper to front of card front. Prepare the Bird Watching and Tulip Scrolls using the above technique. Allow to dry completely. Adhere to front of card front.

Stamp sentiment to front of journal block. Adhere to front of card base with pop dots. 

Add prepared bird and ribbon to top of card front.

Hope Canvas by Guest Designer Pam Bray

I hope you have enjoyed my guest design spots with Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts. I have exciting news to share next month with you SO stay tuned!!!

I began my Hope Canvas by first deciding which fabulous piece of chipboard I was going to use.

Give each piece a coat of white gesso. Allow to dry completely.

Apply Tarnish Brass Distress Paint to top of each piece. Allow to dry completely.

Paint the pieces of Diamond Texture Sheets with  Bundled Sage, Forest Green and Peeled Paint Distress Paint. Paint the bird with Salty Ocean Distress Paint. Allow each layer dry completely before adding next layer.

Paint both canvas with Picked Raspberry Distress Paint. Allow to dry completely. Add a light coat of Spun Sugar to top. Allow to dry completely. Stamp image using black paint. Allow to dry completely.

Add white gesso to larger canvas using stencil and pallet knife. Allow to dry completely.

Place prepared pieces of Diamond Textured Sheet under and on top of canvas.

Spatter smaller canvas with black paint. Allow to dry completely. Adhere to top of larger canvas.

Add prepared Tulip Scroll Corner.

Add painted "Hope" from the Word & Phrase 2  to top of Bird in Ivy Wreath to finish your canvas. I "hope" you enjoyed my painted canvas. Make sure to check out all of Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts fabulous chipboard.

'Love This' - a Layout by Lynne

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm an animal lover, and that I enjoy scrapping photos of my sweet fur-babies. I caught Lily and Zoey napping together in front of my scraproom window and love the soft look of the resulting photo.

The beautiful chipboard flourishes and the title piece were first painted with tan acrylic paint, then with Ranger Crackle Paint in clear Rock Candy. I then rubbed Ranger Gathered Twigs ink over them to enhance the look of the cracks. It's a simple way to get a natural earthy look.

Hello Friends!  It's Shanna here,  and I'm back again with cards to share that I created for Gina's Designs Lasercuts. I am beyond excited to share these. I love making cards and these were so fun to make.

First up is my Thank You card. I used some Prima papers and flowers, and painted my chipboard with gesso. For the Fern Fronds I gave those an extra coat of Prima Chalk Ink.

For the second card I just love love love this one. I used the newest collection from Prima called Forest Green. I paired it with a Wood Element, Dragonfly, and Birdcage from Gina's Designs.

I put a image in the heart and covered it with Glossy Accents!

The birdcage got a coat of gesso and the dragonfly got Distress Paint and Crackle Accents.
