Mother's Day Vintage Style Fan Video Tutorial

Hi everyone!  Today I want to share a beautiful and very thoughtful gift to give for Mother's Day, or any Summer time occasion.  These are quick and fun to make, and the addition of Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts will add so much detail and dimension without adding the bulk.

I have made a step-by-step process video showing every step of the way to making one of these beautiful fans.  I am using lots of embossing powder and 3D paint techniques, and I will share a few tips or pointers for working with chipboard and making the fan in general.  This video is especially good for beginners as well as experienced crafters.

Peace on Earth Canvas

Hello everyone. Shanna here with a new creation. I wanted something I could gift away as a present. I thought with it being Christmas time this canvas would be amazing.

I started with priming my pieces with gesso.

Then I used a stencil with some texture paste.

Once the paste is dry I used some sprays to add color.

I used some chalk inks and gold spray on the lamp.

Then I just put it all together on my canvas. I added the Peace on Earth sentiment and the flower arrangement. Here are some close-ups. I hope you enjoyed.

Cake is My Favorite Place Birthday Greeting Card

Hey there Peeps! Ginny here dropping to share a funky and girly Birthday Greeting card I created with amazing chippies from Gypsy Soul and really festive patterned papers.

I'm just sayin green and pink together is the funnest!!!! And it has cake soooooo.

I painted the Flourish Frame Sienna to coordinate with the background paper and inked it just a bit then added some of the matching patterns to the  Postage Frames painted in white to build up the side of the card.
A few Flourishes painted in crisp white helps to break up the similar tones and brightens up the front.
These flowers match perfectly and add a bit of texture.

Steampunk Mini Album

Hi everyone! Carla here with a fun tutorial using the Cutout Cover Mini Album- Steampunk from Gina's Designs!

The first thing I did was to take one of the pages and turn it into my cover, I used gesso all over it and with a foam brush, did pouncing movements to create this cool texture.

After that was dried, I used different sprays in gold, brown and coffee shades to make it look antique.

Next I took the Steampunk cutout overlay and painted it with this acrylic gesso and let it dry.

Then I sprayed it with dark copper and bronze shades, using a mixture of flat and shimmery finishes.

When the two pieces are adhered together, you can see the cool effect!

Here are some more pictures of the inside pages. I used the Dragonfly Frame, Flourish Frame Sienna, Flourish Frame Sienna Mini and Dragonfly.

I love all of the details in this steampunk mini album. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and please check out the video on my YouTube channel. Please subscribe!!!

My Mother-in-law just celebrated her 70th birthday and this was among the wonderful pictures on display. She is about 16 or 17 here and in one of her brother's weddings. She had seven brothers, so we are not sure which wedding this was. I was honored to use this photo on my first piece.
