Beauty Begins in Spring Tag by Pam Bray

Hi Gypsy Soul Fans...Pam here today sharing with you my "Beauty Begins" Tag!!! Spring is in the air and with  that being said we need to always remember to just be ourselves. Just as the flowers bloom, the butterflies fly in all their glory it is a reminder of  being yourself.

I began my tag by first painting the Butterfly of Gears and Scribble Frame Butterfly with the distress paints; dry.

While the chipboard is drying; cover one of the Chipboard Decorative XL Tags with pattern paper.

Layer the Chipboard Decorative XL Tags with pattern paper and border strips.

Add Steampunk Doily (contact store) under Scribble Frame Butterfly

Adhere prepared Scribble Frame Butterfly to top  of the Epherema Card. Adhere to front of prepared tag.

Adhere Butterfly of Gears to top of tag.

Add pretty ribbon to the top of the prepared tag along with a few metal gears.

 Add flowers and beads to the tag.

Halloween Cards by Shanna

Hello to you all. Shanna here and I am thrilled to share some new Halloween cards I created. 

For my first card, I had fun building the layers up. 

I started with layering paper over the small tag. Once the glue was dry then I cut around the tag. 

TIP: Use a nail file to file down and smooth the edges. 

I painted the spiderweb chipboard with black paint and then the "boo" with black paint as well. Then I got this idea to add some crackle glaze so it had that cracked look - sort of like a spider web. 

I also then used some glossy accents to add glitter to the pumpkin and let this dry before layering all my pieces together. I added a little bit of pop up dots being the tag to give it dimension. 

For my second card, I carried the crackle accents over to my chipboard rodents. 

They got a coat of black paint and crackle accents. 

While they dried I painted part of the Stackable Label and then used paper to cover the other part. I added the Ghostly Greetings from the rodents. 

I added more pop dots under the rodents to give them more dimension.  I think the dimension really takes the card to another level. Then I finished it off with some flowers.

Good morning love Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Fans!!!! I am so excited to share that Gina has asked me to join the amazing Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Design Team. I am so excited and had to just share the "love" I have for the amazing chippies that are available in the store!!!

I began my project by cutting 22 pieces of 2" x 12" pieces of scrap chipboard BUT.... if you need chipboard slats please contact Gina at Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts to get them.

Cut 17 pieces of pattern paper and apply adhesive to the back. (I used the Xyron Creative Station to apply my adhesive.) Apply pattern paper to top of chipboard slats, stagger and layer together. Adhere 5 chipboard slats to the back for support. (As above photo)

 Adhere pattern paper to top of each letter.

 Decorate with painted chipboard pieces.

 Adhere matching Mon Amour pieces to top of letters.

Add pattern paper to Heart Mini Display Frame. Paint top piece with carbon paint, allow to dry. 

Apply stickles to the top, allow to dry.

 Add pretty flowers to the letters and Heart Mini Display.

 Adhere more wonderful chippies to the Heart Mini Display.

 Adhere the Steampunk Doily Set to each of the pieces.

Place random gears to the top of each piece. 

 Adhere fun flowers using glue dots.

Fussy cut an image from the pattern paper, layer together with pop dots and place on letter "E".

 Add an image behind painted Heart Word chippy. Place pretty bows on each of the pieces.
