Hello this is Yolie with today's project. I used Stained Glass Fergus frame and Leafy Swirls and Buds, both will be coming to the shop soon.
Do you ever purchase a paper collection in duplicates? I sure do! Especially Graphic 45. So in love with G45's Communique designs. I used it on the card I am sharing today.
At the moment I don't have access to all my fun paints so I used an airbrush to "paint" the Stained Glass Fergus frame. I used a Sharpie adapter and airbrushed the frame with black for full coverage. I used a brown Sharpie on the Leafy Swirls with light airbrushing in black.
The flowers were a bit creamy so I took the brown Sharpie and airbrushed them for a more antique look.
Before adhering the paper, I also airbrushed the edges in brown for a vintage vibe.
Everything on the card got airbrushed. Excluding the typist. I wanted her to pop so I masked her off before airbrushing the edges.
I added a bit of jute on the tag and used pop dots to adhere to the frame and finished it off with bronze matte sequins.
I hope you enjoyed my vintage card and thank you for visiting.

GSLC Fall Frame to Share by Teresa
Hi Everyone and welcome to the Gypsy soul laser cuts blog today. It's finally fall here and the colors are beautiful so i thought i would create something pretty to put out at my house with the "Fall Shape Set", some burlap flowers and some of my favorite inks.
For my project I found an easel frame in a pretty shade of burgundy with just a bit of burlap on it. The Fall Shape Set has lots of neat things you can use. I pulled out a bunch of pieces and then set to work inking them with all kinds of pretty inks that I had in my stash. I used mostly Versa Color inks because they mixed so well on the chipboard. I inked each piece one at a time so that I got the perfect balance of color on my pieces. I really love the fall banner at the bottom. I used a light yellow for the base and then burnt orange for the cutouts.
Here is a closeup of the banner...
And here is another closeup of the cornstalk and leaves and the rake. The pieces are so pretty and there is so much detail in the set. And I have lots of pieces left to make a few cards with.
Here are all the colors that I used for my project. And I even used a bit of perfect pearls in gold and rust. They added just a little bit of glimmer to the already rustic look of the burlap and twine.
Thanks so much for stopping over and hope you have a very crafty day!

Fall Door Hanger by Barb
My house might not be clean (who's got time for that?!), but it is decorated for the season!
I had fun making this autumnal door hanger. I love that Gina's Designs not only carries bits and pieces to put on crafty items, but the bases that are so often needed to begin a project. Such is the case with these sturdy Door Hangers.
I began my project by using a putty knife to spread orange, brown, and white acrylic paint on the door hanger. I spritzed it with both copper and gold irRESISTibles to give it some shimmer. Then I set it aside to dry thoroughly. While it was drying, I chose some leaves from the Fall Shape Set. I dabbed various colors of acrylic paint on these as well. Then I sprinkled them with matching glitters.
Using those leaves as well as some silk leaves and a paper flower that I have in my "craft stash", I then assembled the piece with glue.
I felt like the piece still needed something - a little more color and texture. So, I dabbed on Distress Stickles to both the background and the leaves. I also stamped on the branches using Chocolate Brilliance ink.
Now the inside of my home is as colorful as the outside is! I definitely need to get more of the door hangers so I can make one for every holiday and season. I'm already plotting out a Christmas design in my mind!
