Where Do We Go From Here? Peek-a-Boo Projects All Grown Up-Part 2

Many of you ask where I get my creative inspirations, many of them come from my love of nature and a desire to try to be unique and not copy other artist but further my brand. I love to Upcycle my Peek-a-Boo Projects and use them on my Hand Bound Treasure Books and Alter Boxes.

I will be posting my "Top Ten Peek-a-Boo Regenerations of Favorite GSCL Products"

5. The Different Kind of April Shower was also completely disassembled to become part of this book cover.

Love with Fairies Frame by Guest Designer pam Bray

I am sharing my second guest design post here on the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Blog. I created a Love with Fairies Frame using a wood frame that I found on clearance.
It was shouting from my stash....saying add chipboard from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts, lol. SO....that is what I did!!!!
I first placed my chipboard and flowers on the frame. Lifting them up, I glued them down with Glossy Accents.
Allow to dry completely.
Paint over the entire frame with white gesso.
Spray first with the Primary Yellow, then with the Shimmer Turquoise followed by the Red Mist.
(Make sure that you allow each mist to dry completely prior to spraying the next mist.)
Finally spray the frame with Shimmer White, dabbing off with paper towel. Allow to dry completely.
Paint banner, birds, and fairies.
Allow to dry completely.
Adhere to frame.
Do a wash over the flowers with paint.
Dry completely.
Paint over the birdcages and "Love".
Allow to dry completely.
Adhere prepared fairy and bird to top of frame.
Paint the flourish and bands on frame with gold metallic paint.
Allow to dry.
Add prepared bird to top of flower.
I hope I have inspired you to listen to your frames and other products that are crying out to be altered with Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Chipboard.  Until we meet again. Pam

Flourish Cards

Hello to you all. Shanna here with some cards to share!

I really wanted to play with some flourishes! I used two small ones and there are also large ones in the store as well.

So for my first card I used the heart doily from the Cardstock Doily Set Intricates and the Layered Flourish Chloe - Small.

For the second card I used another Cardstock Doily Set Intricates and the Layered Flourish Renata - Small.

The chipboard got a coat of gesso and then I the top part of the flourish I went over with chalk ink for a soft pastel look. I cut out the hello with my cut machine and finished the cards off with flowers.

Making quick fun cards with my chipboard pieces is really fun and a great touch to give to anyone.
