Twist and Pop Halloween in Wonderland Card

Have you tried to make a twist and pop ?  gave up ? Me to!  Then I discovered Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts already made mechanism.

I applied the adhesive as pictured on the package (on both the front and back of the mechanism).

The next step was to cut a 12" x 6" piece of cardstock and fold it in half.  Mark 3" with a pencil  inside the fold.

 Cut two 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" pieces of patterned paper and adhered them to the inside panels.

Put the mechanism on the bottom piece of patterned paper making sure the tip of it as at the 3" mark and even with the bottom edge. Take the tape off and fold the top piece of paper down. Press on it to

make sure it's adhered.  Open the card and duplicate that process. ( I used a small clip to help hold it in place.)

When the card is opened the mechanism should pop up and look like this:

I made four embellishments. The largest piece is 1 3/4" x 3 1/4", the next is 1 3/4" x 3",  and the smallest is 2 5/8" x 2 1/8".

Popped up each of the three pieces with Stampin' Up Dimensions.

I put solid colored cardstock on the top of each panel and then the embellishments on top of the cardstock.

The piece at the bottom of the opened card is a pocket in case the giver wants to add
a message or money.

I love this card because the "pop and twist" is pre-made.  It's a good start for my Halloween projects!

"The Mad Hatter's Secrets" Hidden Drawer Book

This is one of those projects that just kind of sprouted. All the supplies just kind of jumped up and shouted "ME! ME!". I'm glad they did because I'm smitten with this project.

I've used the 6" Hidden Drawer Book Box as my base and then ran with the Mad Hatter theme from the Hallowe'en in Wonderland Deluxe Collectors Edition from Graphic 45.

I've repeated the cobweb theme of the scrapbook paper with a wed stamp and gold embossing powder.

I used that same stamp, repeatedly, on a Layered Frame Aria then added a spade charm to the tippy top for some added interest.

I used the same stamping and embossing technique for the top and bottom elements on the spine. I used a Deco Frame, then trimmed the elements I wanted to use.

Also on the spine and cover, I've used more elements from Hallowe'en in Wonderland Deluxe Collectors Edition and added a Metal Door Plate and Knob.

Inside, the Hatter's Tea Party! I really just sort went to town and filled the interior with suitable miniatures already in my stash including: a pocketwatch pendant, miniature wine bottle, a dormouse, playing cards, cakes and cookies and more.

Happy Saturday Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Fans!!! Pam here today sharing my Tea Party Halloween Card using some amazing GSLaser Cuts Chippies!!!

Begin your Halloween card by applying inks to piece of cream card stock; dry.

Stamp background with black ink.

Apply rust embossing powder to top of Double Window Ornate using Boss Gloss; heat set with embossing gun. Add paper with fussy cut image to back of the  prepared Double Window Ornate.

Adhere prepared ink background paper, pattern paper and embossed Double Window Ornate to top of card front.

Paint two mice from the Creepy Critters and one of the candlesticks from the Candlesticks with white paint; dry.

 Paint prepared mice and candlestick; dry. Do line work with Micron Pen.

Spatter prepared mice and candlestick with paint; dry. Adhere to top of Double Window Ornate.

Add sentiment from pattern paper with stapler.

Add prepared candlestick and last mouse to front of card. Make bow and add to front of card along with berries.
