Time to Create by Amylove

Hi everyone! Amylove here with the Desk Clock Picket Fence. These bold colors are not usually my style, but I embraced the beautiful Graphic 45 papers for this whimsical creation!

Desk Picket Fence Clock

Hello ladies and gents! When I saw this picket fence clock, I was super excited to alter this.  I gave the fence a weathered paint look with a crackle technique.  The slates were painted with two coats of flat black paint, then  crackle medium.  Once it was dried, I added vintage ivory acrylic paint and then added black distress ink to all the edges.

I added a birdcage, which I manipulated to give it some dimension. I pained it with Snow-Tex for more dimension and added a very small flower to the top.

The clock face I used Prima paper along with the base of the fence. The numbers on the clock I painted with black ink, then used my finger to added gesso to make the numbers pop.  I also added gesso to the clock hands to make them stand out more.

The flourish details were inked with two different distress inks, Crushed Olive and Forest Moss, and then, using my finger, gesso was added for dimension.  I then added several flowers from my stash to finish it off.

I just love the way this came out!  Thanks for stopping and have a crafty day!

Mixed Media Altered Clock by Kim

Hello friends, today I would like to share a new item in Gina's Store. This is the Picket Fence Clock. I chose to do a black and blue theme, as this will be the clock I use in my crafty studio, and I love these color tones.

I started off by painting the base in a flat black and using some turquoise paint along the fence rails.  I papered the fence with the lovely Fly Away paper from 13 Arts.  I dry brushed more of the turquoise on top of the paper to give a worn look to the fence.

I added some Tim Holtz rub-ons with butterflies, words and numbers to give it a grunge feel.

I added some of the dragonflies from the butterflies and dragonflies set. I painted them in matching colors and then used gold embossing powder as an accent. I dotted the wings with glossy accents and dipped them in some glitter glass to give them sparkle. I added some flowers to the base to finish it off and I love how it came out!

I papered the clock in matching paper from the paper collection and painted the clock in a matte black.  I am very pleased with this clock it will be a great addition to my crafty space!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Picket Fence Clock

Hi everyone! Melissa here for Gina's Designs.  This is an adorable desk clock I've decorated with paper, paint, and pearls.  I first painted it with gesso, then painted the whole thing a pale pink, using a mix of white, pink, and yellow acrylic paints. I inked the edges with green chalk ink and green distress ink. I glued on some images and put pearls around the edges. I then dry brushed on some silver leaf paint. I painted over that with white acrylic and gesso. I dabbed on pink chalk ink in different areas. I painted the edges and clock with Lindy's Stamp Gang, watercolors, and Distress Ink.  I painted on silver leaf paint on the clock hands, and dry brushed some on the clock. I brushed white Pearlex powder over all the painted areas.

I plan on using this in my scraproom, and hopefully I can keep better track of time!

Thanks for looking!

Picket Fence Clock

Hi! This wintery weather seems to be inspiring me to create projects with spring and summer feels to them. This fun clock is no exception with the addition of butterflies and dragonflies (and the little fairy who's  sitting there, braving the elements with no coat, boots, gloves, or hat on!)

The clock face was coloured with Antique Gold Rub and Buff, then I added bits of Perfect Pearls powder here and there for a bit of shimmer.

After painting the bird piece and adding texture paste, I added small amounts of  Rub and Buff as well as some Perfect Pearls, which I brushed on after stamping the area with Versamark.

I heat embossed the fairy and then stamped over with Versamark and added Perfect pearls so all the pieces had some of the same shimmery gold, pink and pearly white. I also added perfect pearls to the stenciling on the paper behind the clock face

This was a fun project to create and will be a useful addition to my scraproom! Have a wonderful week, stay warm, and create something beautiful!!

Desk Clock

Shanna here with a fun BRAND NEW piece to share with you all!

This is a new clock to the store! You can check RIGHT HERE for new items being added!

I covered the base pieces with some paper. The base the fence sits on was painted with a gold acrylic. Then I applied some gold rub n buff the to the clock face for a darker look.

All edges also got some Distress Ink to keep it grungy.

I left open space to add a picture behind the hand or add more embellishments to for a later time.

This is a wonderful piece that can be made into ANY theme possible. So remember get your chippies and have fun!
