Heidi is up today with a fun little project.

I have seen Artist Trading card and have dabbled with some smaller tags/items but never really focus on these.  But Gina brought out these adorable little artist trading boxes and so of course I had to give it a go. I mean what is a box without the cards, right?  So I decorated the clock box, painted and sanded it and added some clock parts to give it depth.   

So here is my take on a couple of Artist Trading cards, put together with LOTS of Gina's Designs chipboard pieces.  The butterfly on the left is painted and covered in glass effects.  The sprockets and key are all painted different colors and then I added some glass drops for texture on this one.  I think that they turned out quite well and fit in the box as you can see in the top photo- so a box of Artist Trading Cards!

Birdcage Mini Album by Marjolaine

 Marjolaine here today with a mini album I made using Gina's Designs laser cut chipboard. I've titled the album "Ten Lessons I learned from a Bird" Now if you're thinking that I randomly picked these quotes that is not the case. Each verse or quote has taught me something valuable and a few have a much deeper meaning than the way it may appear.

Here's a freebie for our gothic fans.  This one is perfect for layouts, cards and minis with a gothic or a vampire theme.  Think Twilight, True Blood, etc.

Altered Frame by Nancy

Nancy is up today with an altered frame that features a variety chipboard shapes.  This frame began as a particle board unfinished frame. I crackle painted it and added the chippie embellishments.  The frame is being donated to an auction for a dear friend to help with some veterinary costs.  To bid on this frame please visit the facebook page. The frame measures 12 x  12 inches and holds a 5 x 7 photo, or a smaller photo with a mat.

You Make Me Smile: Layout by Lisa

Hi Everyone! It's Lisa here today and I am sharing a layout I created featuring Gina's cardstock doilies, words & phrases 2 and birds & cages!!!  Oh gosh I love them all so much!

Gina's cardstock doilies add such a feminine touch to a page. These doilies work well on a layout or could be used in your altered art or a card.

I tucked the doily into my foliage and florals. The birdcage and word phrase were treated with a base of gesso. Then I misted both of them with several different bottles of Lindy's Starburst Mist. Lindy's is my go to item for chipboard.

After misting the chipboard I go over the edges with ink and rub a little on the chipboard in different areas for shading. On these two pieces I used the Prima Ingvild Blome inks.
