This project was inspired by the beautiful Celtic Hearts I thought they might make a lovely little notebook or journal and they did, I started off with my grey board elements including the hearts, Gingko Leaves, Leafy Swirl and Hinges and Straps.
I drew around one of the hearts on to some cardstock to give me a base.
I then used some fabulous Andy Skinner rice paper to cover my base boards and popped them to one side.
I gessoed and painted the other elements ready to assemble.
I made myself a signature of paper which I had teastained.
I used the same colour palette to colour some ribbon.
and I adhered everything together.
