Bunny Basket Easter Decor

Hello there friends and GSL fans! Ginny here dropping in to share a sweet Easter wall decor.
This project starts with a 6 inch embroidery hoop to provide a nice sturdy base for all the lovely layering.

Beautiful spring inspired flowers in coordinating colors are arranged with die cut leaves and twine bows.

I've stacked the altered chipboard for  great depth and texture. I couldn't resist the bunny charm to bring a little shine.

I picked a pretty gray plaid paper and paired it with a natural wood grain print for a shabby chic effect.

The metal attachment on the top of the hoop creates the perfect place to add a twine loop so this frame will be easy to hang with your favorite seasonal decor.

The chippies are wiped down to prepare them for altering.

The frame is finished with a flat white acrylic paint and the leaves are topped with green paint.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G
