Thinking of You Easter Card

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Dropping in to share a sweet vintage inspired greeting card created with my favorite new chippie frame.

The frame takes the place of my regular doily layer but with more dimension and detail.

It also makes a focal point of the vintage image.

And it fits this 6 x 6 card perfectly!

I created a bit of a mottled finish for the frame with inks and paints.

Of course I loaded on the perfectly coordinating flowers and trims.

And a sweet sentiment layered over a rusty finished metal heart.

I wiped down the chippie to prepare it for altering.

2 coats of pearly paint to add a shimmery finish.

Last but not least I pounced the orangy ink pad on top to add a depth of color.
