Valentine Micro Mini Album

Hello!  It's Susan today with a sweet Shaped Edge Micro Mini Album to share with you today.  I'm not much of a Valentine's gal myself, but I do love a good paper and Kaisercraft's "Sweet Nothings" put me in the mood.

First things first: Punch holes.  I used a ruler and marked a hole 1/4 inch from the edges, then used a Crop-A-Dile to make 3/16" holes.

From there I used the top panel to mark hole positioning for all other panels.

The most time consuming part of this project was selecting the papers for each side.  I traced the panel on papers and cut them by hand.  Fine tuning happens later when the glue is dried and I can sand the edges to match the chipboard.

I used Mod Podge to adhere the cut papers to both sides of the panels, then let them sit and dry while I had lunch.

After lunch I sanded the edges, then inked.  I used white glue to attach the layered bits.

I've been meaning to play around with white dots and dashes, as I've seen on so many projects.  I like the look and will practice more to get better at it!

Thanks for your visit today!

Cheers
Susan

  2. What a beautiful book. A hint of shabby chic mixed with Victorian Valentine. Just beautiful.
