When age is just a number . . .


Hi Everyone. Nancy Wethington here with a birthday card for any age.

I've used the numbers from the


There are so many ways to use this set.
As a background for other elements,
specific numbers or alphabets on a layout or card
or those circles for framing tiny photos.

(I used the tiny circles to frame my son in a group school photo.)

For this card, since my girlfriends are all
*of a certain age*
and we don't care how old we are,
I'm using the entire number set.

I painted the chipboard with chalkboard paint.


While that was drying I started layering some
Graphic 45 paper


and fussy cutting flowers.

Every layer except the first one was popped up using
Crafty Foam Tape.


Once the chalkboard paint was dry,
I added Sparkle & Sprinkle embossing powder.
Heat set and then popped that up on the card front.


For the inside of the card, I used a 
and did the same process as the numbers.

These Banner Border Strips are so flexible
and appropriate for almost any project.
I always have some on hand.


Once everything was put together
I added centers for the flowers
with prills and Stickles


and the card is ready to send.
