Fall Happy Harvest

We are pleased to welcome Nancy Wethington as a guest designer for Gina's Designs today.  You can see more of Nancy's wonderful work on her blog, Art From the Heart, and you can find her teaching classes at For Keeps Sake, in St. Louis, MO.

It's a privilege to be a guest designer for Gina's Designs. Having worked with Gina's Designs for the past month or so, I am in awe of what she creates. With some of the Fall pieces, I went to work trying different mediums on the chipboard: Adirondack Markers, Distress Inks, Copic Markers, Watercolor Pencils, and Stickles.

I used some of those pieces on this card:

The scarecrow was colored using Black Soot and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The rake took the same inks and then for the rake tines I painted with Liquid Pearls. The pumpkins were colored with Copic Markers and the corrugated cardboard background was first inked with Vintage Photo and then went over it with Viva Inka Gold Copper. Stickles were added to the pumpkins and the crow. The paper is from Graphic 45's French Country.

The inside of the card uses more Gina's Designs Fall chipboard:

The chipboard letters were colored with Adirondack Markers. I added a pear design from Graphic 45's French Country.

Hope you liked my Fall Happy Harvest card.

Thank you to Gina's Designs for allowing me to be a guest.
